  <正>Do you know what a couch potato means?It is not a type of vegetable or a kind of couch.It is a person.In America,the word is often used.You see, in America,a lot of people spend nearly half their free-time watching TV.They do less housework,less charity work and less childcare than watching TV.They stay at home instead of going to a movie or a concert.They think it's much more comfortable. As there are many channels to choose from,the TV can be interesting,or they can rent a good movie for two dollars and watch it on the VCR.They can sit on a couch and watch TV for hours and hours without stopping.They do nothing all day except watching TV.Even their pets also like watching TV.
